Unsolicited Commentary from a Friend & Fellow Musician

Gentlemen,

I happened to be in NYC last weekend. Saturday night I was able to see
Mulgrew Miller with a sextet at the Jazz Standard. It was a very enjoyable
and inspiring show. But, it made me think.....

Yeah - these are world class musicians. But, I know guys at home on
the same level. Holy smokes - I get to work with guys on this level at
home.

Thanks! It's good to know you. It's good to enjoy your talents and to
even be part of that music making experience on occasion.

Just tho't I'd tell ya.

New Format

I am changing the format of the news delivery to this new Update format. News will be added as it happens, and this should (hopefully) keep the news more current and immediate. Each entry will have a header which defines the news story more clearly. Erie has our own all-jazz station now in WMCE. You can catch jazz 24-6 (there is some non-jazz programming on Sundays), including Bob Protzman's show on Friday afternoons from 3-6pm.
